Who We Are

We are a gospel-driven organization founded in 2010 that is focused on making disciples who make disciples. MEI is led by an executive director and a board of dedicated men and women who wish to be obedient to God’s calling to make disciples. MEI is a nonprofit organization, depending on churches, businesses, and individuals to join us in reaching the world with the gospel. MEI maintains a mission site on the island of Helene in the Bay Islands of Honduras as well as serving in other countries around the world.

What We Do

Equip Churches: MEI sends trainers to your church to train believers in strategic mission work. We equip churches of different sizes & denominations to facilitate connections, evangelism, discipleship, & church planting.

Send Missionaries: MEI sends out both short term and long term missionaries. We help people fulfill the calling that God has placed on their lives by offering a hands-on, Biblically solid missions training course on the field in the Bay Islands of Honduras.

Train National Partners: MEI equips and trains national partners around the world using simple, reproducible tools to assist them in making multiplying disciples.

What We Believe

That the Bible is the inerrant Word of God
In the unity and trinity of the Godhead, that God the Father is Sovereign in everything
That Jesus Christ, His only Son, was virgin-born, crucified for our redemption, was resurrected from the dead and will return for His Church
That the Holy Spirit indwells, preserves, and seals every believer
That man is by nature and by choice a sinner in need of a Savior
That salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone
That eternal life awaits the saved while eternal punishment is reserved for the lost

Our Ministries

Discipleship

Building relationships through small groups to invest in the lives of men, women, & children. Training pastors and church leaders to be disciple makers. Romans 1:6 & Matthew 28:19-20 are our guiding principles.

Helene Christian English School

MEI helps to maintain the English heritage of the islanders in a predominantly Spanish-speaking nation, while sharing the gospel daily with their children.

Helene Medical & Dental Clinics

MEI runs the only dental and medical clinic on the island to bring better health and faster healing to the needy citizens of Helene.

Helene Clean Water Ministry

MEI provides clean drinking water to serve the sanitary and health needs of the entire community.
