Christmas is Christ given to us from the Father. The Resurrection is Jesus alive forever. He returned to His Glorious home giving us the Holy Spirit. Then Christ walked and lived among us. Lastly, He rose again and lives in us.

The birth of Jesus is not something that just happened. It is the everything that hap- pened to us and for all of us. We received every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places; we got an inheritance. (Ephesians 1:3&11 and I Peter 1:4) God gave us everything worth having when He gave us Jesus.

Jesus asks one thing of us, “to come to Him.” Nothing more, nothing less. When we come to Him, He gives us all He has and we are transformed to be like Him. What a marvelous exchange! I give Him what little I have, and He gives me all He has. I have the better deal. So Christmas is about me getting the DEAL OF AN ETERNITY. How can we keep from celebrating? We cannot.
