A life-long resident of South Mississippi, Dalton lives in Hattiesburg, MS with his wife and three children. Dalton attends Temple Baptist Church and is an active member, serving as a Deacon, and on the outreach team as a decision counselor. Prior to joining the MEI board, Dalton served on the board of Wilderness Refuge Recovery Ministry. A local ministry serving the needs of men in addiction recovery.

He is a local businessman meeting the insurance needs of individuals and businesses in the Hattiesburg area. He has been in this role for the last 11 years.

Dalton has been married to his wife Kala for 15 years and they have 3 beautiful children: two daughters, Kinsley and Livy Scott, and one son, Lincoln.
