Mission Encounters International (MEI) is pleased to announce a new serving partnership with Abundant Life Foundation (ALF), on the island of Roatan, Honduras. MEI is currently expanding its ministries to Roatan, including the expansion of a donated home in order to house Short-Term Mission teams.  The main goal of the partnership is to provide Short-Term Mission teams, along with some funding, to assist with the building of homes with ALF’s Los Suenos master planned community.

“Through the groundbreaking development of the first Master Planned Affordable Housing Community on Roatán, we will provide not only housing, but a place for communing. 120 affordable homes will be offered for individuals and families who will partner with us to develop a sense of community and well-being lost through years of over-development in the area.”  ALF website

Background 

The Abundant Life Foundation (ALF) envisions Honduras as a place where people create opportunities for themselves and their communities, beginning in Roatan. ALF enters into formal partnerships with entities that have direct, ongoing ties with the Foundation. All partnerships work in areas directly related to ALF’s core pillars of community development, education, and/or conservation. Partnerships are intended to provide mutual benefit to both ALF and its partnering party and, most importantly, the Bay Islands.

Mission Encounters International (MEI) is a gospel-driven, charitable organization with a heart devoted to missions. MEI commits to Encountering God…Transforming Lives…Impacting Nations. The ultimate goal at MEI is to disciple others by pursuing relationships to proclaim the gospel and demonstrate the kingdom of Jesus in all areas of life.
