Thinking about a Short-Term Mission trip (STM)? Mission Encounters International (MEI) has been hosting STM teams for over 16 years now, offering an almost turn-key process (except air transportation arrangements), providing your team a comfortable and safe experience to focus on your chosen ministries.
A MEI Short-Term Mission Team
Teams often participate in such outreach events as:
Home visitations and prayer
Gospel sharing and/or teaching
Bible study participation/leading
Children and Youth ministries
Community projects
Partnering with indigenous churches
Assist with vocational training
Construction or other special project

MEI Short-Term Mission trips are centered around a biblically based approach to poverty alleviation. You learn how you can walk with people who struggle with poverty in ways that lead to lasting change. The devotional teachings and outreach events center around – Helping Without Hurting in Short-Term Missions.
MEI Short-Term Mission Trips – Overview
Mission Encounters International (MEI) is a gospel-driven, charitable organization with a heart devoted to missions. Our primary serving mission is located on the island of Helene, Honduras. Helene is one of the Bay Islands off the Honduras northern coast in the Caribbean Sea. You can be as involved as you want, either allowing us to pick the schedule, or plan with us to create a custom plan perfect for your team. STMs are the perfect opportunity for churches and youth groups to serve and grow in a cross-cultural environment. MEI is uniquely set up to house and feed your team and provide a variety of ministry outreaches among the island communities.
