Our Shepherd and Pastor Jesus taught us, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” – John 13:34-35

As Larry and Sheila prepare for their annual three-month trip back to the United States for physical rest, spiritual refreshment, engaging with their large family, and meeting with MEI partners & supporters throughout the country, Larry would like to thank all of you for your faithful encouragement, gifts of time (Short-Term Mission Teams), and financial resources during their 17 years as missionaries in Helene, especially in this turbulent year we all have experienced.  

As a side note, since Short-Term Mission trips were not allowed this year, due to COVID-19, Larry stayed very busy in the Helene communities and found time to learn about creating videos.  In Larry’s video below, he is using some of this new knowledge by displaying the main MEI building and some of the school rooms as a background.  Also, Larry is looking forward to thier return early next year and the opportunity to use his new video skills to highlight more about the people of Helene living out God’s Word. 

Please continue to pray for Larry and Sheila, as their planned trip back to the US was interrupted last week by a positive COVID-19 diagnosis.  Larry was very sick about a month ago but are both feeling well now.  Unfortunately, due to international travel restrictions, they both must stay quarantined in Roatan for ten days, delaying their trip home. 

God is blessing you and making His face shine upon you and giving you peace at this very moment. Walk in His blessings today.
