“Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.” – Psalms 96:3
Psalm 96:3 is part of a hymn lifting up the Lord and praising Him for all that he has done. Much like we are eager to tell people when we are in love, the same should be true of God. We are so filled with love for Him and the blessings of the Spirit that we cannot keep silent.
Talking about Jesus!
So many of us think it is kind of weird to bring up the name of Jesus in a conversation, those moments only reveal a lack of relationship we have with Him. I have had a blast recently; there has been such a freedom in my spirit to bring up Jesus in everyday conversations. Most of us feel disconnected from Jesus and I have definitely experienced those times in my life. As I have celebrated the resurrection, I had a new realization that Jesus is alive and very much at work around us. I started acting on that simple truth and Wow! What a Jesus.
This year things are really changing. Our long time Director of the Helene Christian English School got a new job. So, Sheila, Ted and I are having to fill in. I am training the teachers on how to share the gospel with children. This includes, speaking it, reading it, and acting it out with hand motions. The teachers looked at me like I was crazy at first but now they seem to be getting it. This week we learned that GOD IS CREATOR, GOD LOVES ME, and GOD IS PERFECT!
Pray, as our students are saturated with the Good News of Jesus.
