Please join us in welcoming David Willis as a new member of our MEI Team. David joins his wife, Heather Willis, our long-time staff counselor, to also serve with pastoral and Christian counselor support for our MEI Team.
David is a retired Air Force aviator who flew over 2000 hours in KC-135s (the flying gas station). David comes to MEI with a vast amount of experience including short-term teams to Indonesia and Russia, over 6 deployments to various locations in the Middle East, directing a prison after care ministry, and over 5 years in social work. David’s passion is to see God’s Kingdom come, and His will be done. After his military service, the Lord led David to the desert where there was a number of years walking through the valley of the shadow of death. In his words, “I needed to grow, and I experienced the Lord’s love in new depths”.
David has had a deep passion to counsel and disciple others. It was a match made in heaven when he met and married Heather in 2015. David is presently working on a master’s degree in Biblical Counseling at Westminster Theological Seminary. David is thankful for the opportunity to serve alongside Heather in ministry and considers it a privilege to care for MEI workers in his role with Staff Support Services.
